If anything, my career has been atypical.
After a few years working in marketing roles in fashion and luxury hospitality I decided to turn to my true passion for gemstones after a serious car accident that reminded me of the brevity of life.
I decided to complement my business degree with a degree in gemology from Antwerp, Belgium. An internship in the jewelry department at Christie’s in Paris convinced me to further my expertise in diamonds through a graduate degree from the Hoge Raad voor Diamant (HRD) based in Antwerp. In order to bring to life every person’s personality through customized jewelry, I also followed a course in 3D jewelry design.
In 2015, I decided it was time to bring a uniquely masculine twist on diamonds and launched Gems for Men, the first line of customizable bracelets designed to bring out the masculine elegance of diamonds through the unique combination of timeless finishes and strong leathers.
